Vision

Our vision on coaching

Coaching is about supporting a person by creating a self-chosen question, goal or ambition. The coach teaches the coachee to control and take responsibility for his learning and to reflect on the effect of his behaviour and actions. Coaching focuses on ‘learning to learn’ and ‘learning to do’. Coaching is an effective method for developing talents and competences. The learning outcomes can often be increased by combining coaching with other interventions such as training and learning-on-the-job.

Coaching starts with the question from people in organisations who are looking for ways of dealing with the dynamics and complexity in society and organisations in an effective and balanced way. The use of coaching is often a prerequisite for being able to develop personal leadership.

The interaction between the coach and the coachee is of great influence for a successful coaching programme. We expect our coaches to treat the coachee as a person and not only as an employee of an organisation and meet him with respect and attention. Our coaches work with trust, connect to the other, ask questions and confront the coachee in a human way. They are open, constantly focussed on learning and expect the coachee to take full responsibility for their own learning outcomes. Our coaches work result driven with a focus on the coachee as well as the context of the organisation.
